How to Request a Family PPAP

Step 1: Create a Family

1. Navigate to the Assemblies tab, then select Parts.

2. Click the three-dot button in the top-right corner and select Manage families.

3. Choose the supplier the family part is associated with.

4. Click Add family.

5. Enter the family name and click Create.

Step 2: Add the Family PPAP to a Part

1. After creating the family, select it from the Family dropdown when adding or editing a part.

2. Complete all required fields and select the appropriate family from the drop down. Click Add to finish.

Step 3: Request the Family PPAP

1. Go to the PPAP/FAI tab and click Request Family PPAPs.

2. Complete the required fields and click Next to proceed with the PPAP request process. Request to finalize request.
